In 2017 Reboot took 10 members of its creative network for a 5 day immersive experience at the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA, with the common goal to bring these overlooked Yiddish works to new audiences. Over the course of the 5 days, Rebooters, paired with YBC scholars, explored the treasures in the stacks, and following their curiosities and innate sense of consumer culture, began to hone in on potential projects. Here is a taste of some projects in the works.
Since the Reboot Fellowship at the Yiddish Book Center, Reboot has partnered with the Council of American Jewish Museums to establish a Reboot Fellowship program. Together, Reboot and CAJM will identify institutions whose collections are in need of great exposure. At the same time, Reboot and CAJM will develop new ways for museums to bring their collection to life.
